Easy hour tracking for remote staff, easy hour tracking for billing of clients

Cannot control how long screen shots are kept and cannot easily delete them manually. I would like to delete the screen shots after each billing for security purposes.

It is simple to use to track straight time when one does not track time by project.

It is complicated and difficult to use to track time by project. Project time totals should display in real time in the app for each project. Also, there should be no delay in these totals appearing and updating on the web project tracking page. This should not take a batch update to display. In addition, it should be easy to adjust project time if needed; I have received no specific guidance on this and have no idea how to do it.

Transparency. Is good in being able to provide valuable insights.

I think it is a bit on the expensive side.

As an employee of the company, I can say it helps in maintaining record of my colleague and co worker

Hubstaff is simple and easy to use, you can track your working hours in every project you work with. There's an extension for Chrome to automate even more your records

Sometimes when you use Hubstaff to record your time with a meeting it gets slow

Its vigorous time tracking and activity log really helps out in the reporting section.

it doesn't evaluate productivity in real work and can stress out your staff.

It does track time in an accurate way and even those 15 mins before you log out automatically are thinked for you to go and take a piss or something. it is really well thinked.

i haven't found anything i dont like about it

That i didnt feel the time tracking, it tracks time so well and smooth, we all dont feel it, dont have to think about it. it does the job!
it also looks great, nice friendly layout.

The billing department and the billing experience!
As i was checking out the subscription (i am on a monthly subscription), and want to check how much would a yearly billing save me.
i moved a knob from monthly to yearly and my credit card was charged!
no warning, no confirmation, no thank you and no confirmation (on the web or the email)
I found out by chance, a few hours later that my CC was charged for a year.
Also, i was charged for a year after i just paid a week before.
i had to write the billing support 3 times and they acted as if they didnt understand what is the big deal.
which is a frustrating thing to do to a client.
780 bucks IS a big deal for me.
also their replies were vague, late,
and it took 3 emails before i was finally given the link to cancel this transaction.
the app is amazing, the billing interface and support is terrible.

It was very simple to set up and use, even for people who are not familiar with time tracking software. I also found the reporting features to be very helpful. I was able to easily track my team's progress and see where we could improve.

I found Hubstaff's user interface to be a bit clunky and difficult to navigate at first. It took me some time to get used to all of the features and find the settings that I needed.

The data it generates is very reliable and accurate

Maybe it is my computer but I experinced a bit of freezing

It is good if you want to control your employees, if you trust them, don’t use it. It is good for outsourcing where clients ask for this type of tracking

Remote deploy and maintenance is terrible, continuous updates, if you don’t pay for a high end plan, it is very complicated to automate the installer for remote installation

How easy it is to use, especially the attention to UX on the website

Sometimes the pages are difficult to load. Oftentimes, it's due to my network but sometimes when everything else works fine, Hubstaff won't load.
Not a con, just something that bothered me a few times.

It's user interface is seamless and it's a great tool for time tracking; ideal for a remote team that is spread across timezones like ours

Customer service responses can be a little slow

It's functionality and it easy to use especially for first timers like me.

I think the time tracking app, sometimes it automatically stop and you won't notice it immediately.

I like the simplicity of this software. It allows me to manage and monitor my employees' working hours, as well as their efficiency and productivity.

Continuous monitoring of employees could be a violation of their privacy and a breach of trust.

I liked the desktop app which syncs with the web app and gives you a nice summary report.

I didn't find anything that I would complain about. It's an awesome tool.
