> **Nachteile**: Wave removed transaction level CSV export from free accounts and did not disclose the change. The UI still implies export should exist, but it’s now paywalled without warning.

This breaks a core bookkeeping workflow: providing detailed expense records to a CPA for tax filing.

The only export remaining is a summarized P\&L, which is not a substitute for transaction detail in many cases.

This feels like a dark pattern upsell rather than a product improvement. I wouldn’t recommend Wave anymore unless you’re prepared to pay just to retrieve your own data.
