> **Vorteile**: Someone asked me what I like the most about SimplePractice, well, let me start with the fact I have a one-stop shop of ease with appointment management, and it is one of the best for the value for the money. For starters, as a new practice owner, it gave me the option to create a professional website and access to professional learning about the software and amazing tools that they are adding to help me streamline my practice even more.

> **Nachteile**: What I like least is getting accustomed to using a chatbot for tech support. The chatbot has been on point, but this is taking some getting used to. The one time I actually had to speak with a team member/customer service person, they were professional and handled my referral issue with ease.

> Overall, I am very pleased with this data management system, and I am quick to recommend SimplePractice to others. I really like the referral system; one of my colleagues referred me, and I am doing the same for others.

> **Vorteile**: I loved the simplicity and prefilled templates, this software was very user friendly and integrated well with external calendar and payment processing.  Switching to another EHR system was seamless.

> **Nachteile**: The price is what I liked least about SimplePractice and some templates were too general and not specifically tailored to my family practice specialty.

> **Vorteile**: SP has a lot of support behind it. If technical or other product support is needed, customer service is very responsive and precise in solution oriented results. There are also a lot of other forms of support such as self help articles and videos. SP offers a lot of features. Options for insurance claim submission.

> **Nachteile**: - The stability of the telehealth platform is very unsteady and unreliable. 
- It is highly expensive and they recently upped their monthly subscription fees.
- For features such as calendar synch, one needs to upgrade to the most expensive subscription.
- No auto save feature, so you constantly have to be clicking save or you'll lose progress note input.
- No split picture for video and access to type progress note (other EHRs do have this). 
- The calendar synch option is limited.
- They charge to use the CPT codes.

> I had it for 3 years and everything started well. At the time, I was running an all-virtual private practice and it became very frustrating very fast, and I ended up resorting to Google Meets on a constant basis as a backup. 
The high subscription ultimately ended up becoming a financial strain.

> **Vorteile**: The ease of use. Appt mgmt set up. We have been overall happy with it. We have not used customer support to provide an review on it.

> **Nachteile**: I think simple practice charges way too much and they keep raising their rates. It feels a bit predatory.
