Über Employment Hero
Employment Hero ist eine Plattform für Personalverwaltung, Gehaltsabrechnung und Sozialleistungen, mit der Unternehmen administrative Aufgaben wie Personalbeschaffung, Einweisung, Arbeitszeittabellen und Urlaubsanträge sowie Gehaltsabrechnungs- und Mitarbeiterleistungsprogramme verwalten können. Employment Hero zielt darauf ab, diese Verwaltungsprozesse zu rationalisieren, indem es Nutzern ein flexibles und sicheres cloudbasiertes HR-System bietet. Um maximale Nutzerflexibilität zu gewährleisten, ist Employment Hero auch als native mobile Anwendung für iOS und Android verfügbar.
Mit Employment Hero können Nutzer konforme Beschäftigungsverträge erstellen, Schreiben zu Stellenangeboten versenden, elektronische Unterschriften erhalten und den Status von Stellenangeboten in Echtzeit überprüfen. Um den Onboarding-Betrieb weiter zu verbessern, können Nutzer auch Onboarding-Checklisten erstellen, Einweisungsinhalte organisieren und alle Vorfälle am Arbeitsplatz verfolgen und dokumentieren. Mit Employment Hero können Nutzer außerdem Dienstpläne planen, Arbeitszeittabellenberichte sichern und Prüfpfade generieren. Mit den Berichterstattungstools von Employment Hero erhalten Nutzer wichtige Einblicke in den organisatorischen Status, die Leistungs- und Ressourcenanforderungen. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht Employment Hero den Mitarbeitenden, ihre eigenen persönlichen und Bankdaten über ein Self-Service-Systems (ESS) zu verwalten. Mit dem ESS können Mitarbeitende auch Urlaub in verschiedenen Kategorien beantragen.
Da Employment Hero ein einfaches und konformes Gehaltsabrechnungssystem unterstützt, können Nutzer flexible Zahlungspläne und mehrere Abteilungen genau und pünktlich verwalten. Employment Hero lässt sich in die wichtigsten Buchhaltungssoftwares wie Xero, MYOB und KeyPay integrieren, sodass Nutzer Rechnungsstellung, Steuern und Gehaltsabrechnung problemlos verwalten können. Neben dem Personal- und Gehaltsabrechnungsmanagement enthält Employment Hero ein Mitarbeiterleistungsprogramm, bei dem Mitarbeitende sich anmelden können, um Einsparungen bei Hausdarlehen, Strom- oder Internettarifen zu finden.

Soltuion to our Cost Centre Reporting!

We've been using Employment Hero for more than two years now. We started with one entity and then decided to move all our entities to it. The HR and Payroll platforms are very easy to navigate. We very much benefited from the Cost Centre Reporting and integrating that with our Bookkeeping software made our reporting very easy. The HR platform is our employees first point of contact to find any data about our organisation, policies and procedure, agreements... etc. On top of that most of our employees are finding it much easier to track their Leave balances and status through the mobile app.
The Online Support is very quick in general and there is always a solution to any query we put through to the team,
Overall, a great deal to our organisation!
Vorteile
Most likeable feature we found in the system for our organisation is the easy integration of our Bookkeeping software and the ability to import the payroll journal. That made our cost centre reporting very easy and accurate.
Nachteile
It would be great if it can be linked to the Outlook Calendar!

My overall experience with Employment Hero has been good.
I’ve been using Employment Hero since 2016, right from their very beginning, and it’s been amazing to see how much they’ve improved over the years. It’s clear that they take customer feedback seriously, which is why I believe it’s so important to keep sharing our experiences.
After a five-year break in my career, I returned to work in Australia and switched from another HR system over to Employment Hero and I can see that they have some new features even some of the issues we were facing 5 years ago still there.
But overall it's a great system and the customer support normally is immediate and very helpful.
Vorteile
Easy to navigate and integrates everything we need.
Nachteile
That's there's a lot of settings in both HR and Payroll and sometimes it gets confusing. Also my employees have access to both because in order to use rosters they need access to Payroll and sometimes they are entering timesheets in both systems and overlapping, etc.

Not an all in one product - you'll still need an ATS and LMS

Vorteile
The Swag app is very easy to use especially for our employees who don't work in front of the PC. It would be great if employees could do everything off the app. Wish it would work for the learning module. The app is not entirely comprehensive. Customer support was awesome. Now it seems harder to actually get to an actual person. You're referred to HeroAI with no way to get passed it to a real person.
Nachteile
EH is completely let down by their learning management system which is a GO1 product. GO1 is a nightmare to use. The UI looks dated. Can't easily search for a course you've created. The reports are not useful. To get reports for multiple courses, you have to run one for each individual course. While you're creating a course and your mouse runs off the form, it completely disappears with your form. Amongst other things. The process is not user friendly.
Also, the recruitment function in EH is not great so you really need an ATS on top of this. It's not intuitive. You can't preview Word documents so you really need to download every Word CV to have a look at them. Not intuitive in how you move from CV to CV. It's not a all in one system.
We also use EH's sister company Employment Innovations for payroll processing. They have made multiple mistakes. When confronted the impression I get is they're always defensive. The attitude is not "No worries, we'll work together and get this sorted" but "it must be something you did".

Importing data from my existing platform into EH, it was problematic and labour intensive.

My overall experience with Employment Hero has been very positive. The platform is user-friendly and makes managing HR tasks much more efficient, from payroll to employee management. I especially appreciate the self-service features, which empower employees to manage their own information and requests. The compliance tools are another plus, helping us stay on top of regulations. The only challenge we faced was the setup of our complex Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), which took a bit longer than anticipated. However, once it was properly configured, the system has performed smoothly and reliably. Overall, Employment Hero has streamlined our processes and saved us time.
Vorteile
What I liked most about Employment Hero is how it simplifies HR & Payroll processes while offering a user-friendly platform. It integrates everything from payroll to employee management in one place, which makes it easy to handle everyday tasks efficiently. The self-service portal for employees is a great feature too—it empowers staff to manage their own information and leave requests without having to go through HR every time. Additionally, the compliance tools give peace of mind, ensuring we stay up to date with legislation. Overall, it's a comprehensive system that streamlines workflows and saves time
Nachteile
The only downside I've experienced with Employment Hero is that setting up our complex Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) took longer than expected. Due to the intricacies of our specific agreement, the setup process required more time and effort to ensure everything was accurate. However, once configured, the system has run smoothly. This would likely be less of an issue for businesses with simpler agreements.
