Flowlens not only manages to squeeze in a complete MRP package, but its modern, API driven approach means it can sit at the centre of complex multi-spoke systems, giving sales, manufacturing and stock a single point of truth. We can now integrate our own custom systems for a full Engineer to Order solution, with detailed oversight of every part of the business. Being able to see exactly what manufacturing stage a customer's order is at, within a few clicks, has been a real revelation for us, as has the timed tracking of job cards. Another big positive is the intuitive user interface. Staff at all skill levels found it easy to use and the whole team took to it quickly. Compared with other systems I've implemented in the past, we saw at least a 20% reduction in onboarding time. > > **Nachteile**: The only downside at the moment, though it's already on the development roadmap, is SolidWorks integration. The main attraction was how Flowlens has a continuous flow of data from an initial customer enquiry, (linked to the enquiry form on our website), CRM, managing Sales leads, generating Sales quotes, progressing to a Sales order, Invoicing, (linked to Xero accounts) creating Production projects and Job Cards, Stock allocation and dispatch (crucially deducting exact stock of parts used on that particular Mountain Trike model). It also covers Servicing, Reporting, BOM management, supplier details, product cost data and much more\! It is very User friendly and our Team have taken to it well. > > **Nachteile**: Looking back, the only main challenge we had was the time required for setup, collating our BOM's into the format of Components lists and listing all the parts.
