I like how easy it is to expose metrics from services and build dashboards around them. The integration with Grafana works well, and having a common way to track latency, resource usage, database health, and service performance makes troubleshooting much faster.

> **Nachteile**: The biggest challenge is the learning curve around PromQL and understanding how to structure metrics effectively. As environments grow, it becomes important to manage dashboards carefully. Setting up meaningful alerts can also take some tuning to avoid unnecessary noise. These aren't deal breakers, but they do require some time and discipline.

> My overall experience has been positive. We've used Prometheus metrics as part of our monitoring and observability workflows across multiple services and environments.
