> **Vorteile**: AIMS is a flexible application that supports the complete granting process from start to end.
AIMS provides workflow tools to design and maintain specific business processes.
The rights of internal users and external applicants can be authorized in great detail.
Digital application forms are integrated. These ‘smartforms’ can be designed according to the requirements of the organisation. Questions can be shown or hidden dynamically by the use of logics. Or made mandatory etcetera. Information entered in the digital forms can be automatically stored in the AIMS database.
AIMS also has an integrated tool for developing standard letters in which relevant data from the database can automatically be entered.

> **Nachteile**: On the other hand, the overall flexibility of the system implies that the maintenance is somewhat labor-intensive. The system gives a lot in return though.
> 
> We are using AIMS now for nine years and we have not yet found any other application with this flexibility nor did we find any other application that covers the granting process completely.

> **Vorteile**: What I like the most is the possibility to design our own processes from workflow to flexbase fields and from smartform to template letters, including the possibilty to connect to other databases.

> Overall I'm happy with the range of possibilities within the program and the fact that the company keeps on developing the product implementing new developments and customer ideas.

It can be implemented without technical knowledge and it can be made suitable for all kind of organisations, great, small, complex or international. Aims is a workflow based system which covers the procedures, stores all the documents and provides with forms and template letters all the basics for correspondence with the clients. Aims is completely webbased, so flexible working is no problem.
